Who we are
STS Global Ltd. was founded in January 2007 by its director and shareholder Stefan Tietjen. The company is located in Lewes, United Kingdom.
The company’s main target groups are business customers (B2B) in the peanut market, particularly importers, packers, manufacturers, retailers and distributers all over Europe.
We serve the market with passion and personal commitment, taking advantage of our long-term market experience and extensive industry knowledge.
What we Do
STS Global Ltd. offers an extensive array of professional services. We provide our buyers with crop –and market reports for better in-depth knowledge and keep our partners informed about changes in the market.
We work together with well established manufacturers in the countries of origin who provide us with high quality peanuts for the European market. Thanks to our close cooperation with local warehousing partners and forwarders in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands we are able to offer different “first hand” services such as haulage, customs clearance, quality control, storage, repacking and palletizing, drying, cleaning, blanching and roasting of groundnut kernels.

Varieties
Virginia type
Characteristics: large kernels, cocktail peanuts, often being roasted and processed in the shell
Runner type
Characteristics: dominant type, medium sized kernels, high yields, predominantly used for peanut butter and salted nuts
Spanish type
Characteristics: small kernels, high oil content, used for peanut candies, snacks and peanut butter
Valencia type
Characteristics: three or more small kernels per pod, preferred for boiling, roasted and salted in the shell, “ballpark peanuts”
